The challenge
A recruitment and worker-rental company had run its daily operations on its system for years: recruitment and rental contracts, receipts, accounting and worker files. The system sat on a shared server outside Saudi Arabia and had to move to Sanad's cloud in Riyadh without stopping work or changing a single figure in the books.
The solution
- A final copy taken after business hours, restored on Sanad and reconciled table by table.
- Sensitive data re-encrypted with the company's own key: 705 cells of user fingerprints and bank details.
- 1,148 attached files (contracts and documents) moved as they were.
- An automated check of every screen after the move: 1,371 routes, zero server errors.
- 75 scheduled jobs (alerts and renewals) started on the new server and stopped on the old one.
The result
The counts match the old system exactly: 1,092 contracts, 401 rentals, 5,527 journal entries, 999 receipts, 2,024 customers, 1,408 worker files and 24 users. The trial balance is identical before and after. Staff were then given the new address to carry on working.
